Anzellini Archaeological Consulting offers specialized archaeological, bioarchaeological, and archaeological science services, integrating desktop and field archaeological surveys,skeletal analysis, laboratory methods, and community-engaged projects.

Armando Anzellini, Ph.D., RPA has with over 11 years of archaeological sruvey, laboratory, and teaching experience across South America and North America. Consultation services are available to clients of State and Section 106 archaeological surveys, academic researchers, cultural resource management firms, museums, and governmental bodies requiring expert archaeological, bioarchaeological, and spectroscopic analyses and reporting.

Spectroscopy

ATR-FTIR & Raman

Attenuated total reflectance FTIR and Raman spectroscopy applied to archaeological bone for diagenesis assessment. Crystallinity index (CI), carbonate substitution (C/P), and amide ratios. Data processed and visualized in Python with reproducible, publication-ready outputs. Workshop instruction fro data collection and analysis.

Geochemistry

Stable Isotope Analysis

Carbon (δ13C), nitrogen (δ15N), and oxygen (δ18O) stable isotope analysis from bone collagen and bioapatite. Diet reconstruction and mobility from archaeological populations.

Remote Sensing

LIDAR & GIS

Integration of airborne and terrestrial LiDAR datasets for site detection, landscape analysis, and feature mapping in complex terrain. Applied alongside traditional desktop and field survey and excavation methodology.
